• Ms. Louisiana or rather Mrs. Paula Mouton, ever the inspirational spiritualist began her journey of spiritual nature from the tender age of 6 years old. She was born with a veil and initiated into the spiritual realm by her African American/Creole elders who practiced unknowing hoodoo, burying the umbilical cord beneath an ancient tree, tossing salt over the shoulder, sweeping away spirits at the door, etc.

  • She was guided by the Elders at a young age, baptized through trial and tribulation both through her bloodied bloodline and the spiritual attacks that came for her life at all aspects, marriage, school, and struggling to be understood by her family.

• She was born and raised in the boondocks of New Iberia, Louisiana in the mid 70’s. Where there were more challenges and doubts from her peers than there were encouragement and opportunities to grow, where she was encouraged and raise by her father who had gave up the ancient traditions and became a preacher, he then raised his seven kids best he could as good faith Christians.

• Despite these unglamorous circumstances, Mrs. Mouton survived and thrived—she went on to have multiple tumultuous relationships, experiences and grievances of her family that shaped her into the self-assured woman she is today. She raised 6 kids, 3 boys and 3 girls on her own expertise and came to learn of her own personal divinity through encounters with spirits and unlikely near-death experiences that left her shaken to her core.

• Even through the storm she persisted; and with the help of her youngest daughter, Grace Mouton, who recently graduated high school they created this platform to support the loving veil born family in identifying and encouraging their spiritual gifts.
